Kentucky is host to an abundance of native flora and fauna. From our rolling hills and sprawling forests to our limestone valleys and meandering creeks, Kentucky has always been a scenic land. That same rich species diversity and natural resources are only maintained through diligence and stewardship; it is more vital than ever to reaffirm our relationship with the ecosystem and regenerate, not parasitize, our shared habitat.Â
We have a number of opportunities to drastically improve our land, water, and air quality; we can restore the natural food-web that has been severely curtailed by the loss of pollinators and insect populations. We can remediate the pollution and contaminants already in our environment and prevent their further accumulation. With steadfast effort, we can do what was once deemed impossible.
